Ōhope Beach Football Club is a family-friendly club based in Ōhope Beach, New Zealand catering for children from aged 5-13 and senior mens.

Run by volunteers, OBFC has a strong community following and is one of the largest football clubs in the Eastern Bay of Plenty region.

Junior/kids' training takes place after school during the week, with games being played every Saturday during terms 2 & 3 (excluding school holidays).

The men's season runs approximately from April to September, with pre-season training starting in the summer.

New for 2026 – Women’s Football at OBFC 

We’re excited to be launching a women’s football team this season – the Ōhope Beach Sea Sirens.This new team reflects the growing interest in women’s football in our community and continues OBFC’s focus on being an inclusive, family-friendly club where everyone is welcome.

The Sea Sirens will compete in the senior competition, with the season running from April to September 2026, alongside our men’s team. Whether you’re an experienced player or returning to football after a break, the Sea Sirens aim to offer a supportive, social, and competitive environment.

Come along to our training session on  15th February at 9am to see if the Sea Sirens are the right fit for you. Registrations open next week, with full details on training times, competition, and how to get involved available soon.
